Our innovative and diverse workouts were designed by international pole fitness competitor and Studio Goddess owner and creative director, Kristen Nicole Hall. At Studio Goddess, not only will you receive an entire hour of pure pole spins and aerial moves, you will also experience The Goddess Body warm-up! This warm-up consists of gymnastic style ballistic stretching, hip-hop inspired cardio movement, and yoga inspired strength building -mixed together these elements create a flirty routine that increases heart rate and flexibility! while lengthening and strengthening.
Flirty Fitness Classes
Fierce Flexibility is the perfect flexibility and stretching class for students of all levels. Studio Goddess owner, Kristen Nicole, was inspired to design this class after years of gymnastics and flexibility training. In Fierce Flexibility you will learn both ballistic and isometric stretching techniques to increase active and passive flexibility. This course focuses on shoulder, hip, and back flexibility which will have you in your splits, straddles, and bridges in no time!
Burlesque Booty Burn is just that--a flirty mix of chair aerobics and burlesque dance moves that target the tush! This is not a choreography class! Your instructor will guide you through repetitive movements, such as hip circles and body waves. Burlesque Booty Burn will release your inner goddess through the art of dance while kicking your heart rate into high gear! You will move your body nonstop for 45-minutes to upbeat music and forget that you are toning and shaping your way to beautiful buns and legs!
Shake Your Abs® is a hip-hop inspired abs class created by Studio Goddess owner and creative director, Kristen Nicole Hall. We are excited to announce that our Shake Your Abs class was featured at the 2013 International Pole Convention and 2013 Pole Expo! Say goodbye to the traditional crunch to get that toned, lean tummy you have always wanted! You will engage your core through movements inspired by traditional and contemporary dance! This class is sure to have you dancing right out of those sweatpants and back into your skinny jeans!
PoleOgraphy This 60-minute class combines dance choreography with pole work. The warm up consists of exercises to enhance core strength and deep stretching for improved flexibility. Each class will begin with learning and practicing a variety of select pole moves (spins, climbs, transitions). These tricks will then be applied in a dance routine. All levels are welcome to attend PoleOgraphy; variations will be made for intermediate and advanced students.
Pole-Lates combines Pilates, yoga, plyometric exercises and the art of pole dance to create a booty-busting work-out that will have you sliding into your skinny jeans in no time! The pole is used as a vertical ballet bar to strengthen core muscles, as well as sculpt and tone a long lean body. This class is perfect in combination with pole fitness! Combining the two classes will have you at the top of the pole before you know it!
CIRQulate: was inspired by the amazing circus arts of Cirque du Soleil and a common conditioning technique known as circuit training. In this class you will build strength, tone, and condition your entire body while rotating through stations including: Aerial Hammock, Aerial Hoop ( Lyra), Aerial Silks (Tissue), Aerial Straps, Hand Balancing, Contortion Training, and more! This class is perfect for absolute beginners to seasoned aerialists. This class is taught by Studio Goddess owner Kristen Nicole Hall, who has trained at circus schools in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. We will use these common circus devices to execute basic inverts, climbs, and poses. PLEASE WEAR PANTS, leggings work best. Spotting and safety is our number one priority, in order to provide you with the safest possible experience this class does have a weight limit of 175lbs.
Level 1 Pole Dance Fitness for beginner pole students. This course covers basic floor-work, beginner spins, transitions, and beginner combinations. This class is perfect for first time students or students perfecting Level 1 skills. Students are encouraged to take six to eight Level 1 classes before moving to Level 2. Six classes rotate weekly; they are not progressive so you do not need to wait for a cycle to begin. You may start at anytime, as each class is structured to teach a series of new skills every week.
Level 2 Pole Dance Fitness for intermediate students. Once a student has mastered all level 1 spin combinations and transitions, we encourage progressing to Level 2. In Level 2, students will continue to perfect skills taught in level 1 and learn more advanced combinations. Students will begin learning to invert and climb as well as basic aerial skills.
Vertical Vixens is an advanced class for students who are inverting and climbing properly and with ease. In this class, students learn elite aerial combinations and advanced spin combinations.
Mix of Trix is a multi-level class for all students, from beginner to competitor. This should NOT be your first class; we ask that students have attended a minimum of 2 classes prior to attending Mix of Trix. All levels are welcome to attend these classes and will be taught at their individual level. We encourage all students to attend this class because it is a great review for advanced students, as well as an opportunity for new clients to see the skills they are working towards.
