Our Favorite Austin Bachelorette Party Spots
Austin has so many amazing spots to celebrate with your babe brigade.
There are several pockets within the city to party, each with its own unique vibe.
If you love Studio Goddess you’ll love our favorite spots in town.
Our favorite 6th street bar
Walk across the street to Austin’s famous 6th street and enjoy a unique experience in one of the many entertainment venues.
Midnight Cowboy is one of the oldest speakeasy bars in Austin, opened in 2012. The converted bar is a former brothel that was masquerading as a massage parlor known as
Midnight Cowboy Modeling Oriental Massage. Rather than hide the building's dark history, they chose to embrace it. While each of the countries historic bars offer prohibition-style decor, a secret entrance, amazing cocktails or a haunted history, Midnight Cowboy definitely checks all those boxes. Often revered as Austin's most genuine, original speakeasy and craft cocktail lounge, they take great pride in offering exemplary service while providing downtown's best cocktails.
Make your reservation in advance.
Our Favorite Rainey Street Bar
Walk, scooter, or ride over to Rainey Street to grab a cocktail on this totally unique street that feels like an endless block party.
These cottage style homes have been converted into bars and eateries to celebrate any occasion.
Located in the heart of The Rainey Street Historic District, Parlor Room is an original Craftsman house redesigned into a fun and trendy local hot spot featuring craft cocktails, and craft beer on tap. With 2 full-service bars, a large patio with outdoor seating and games, Parlor Room is the perfect venue for an afternoon cocktail with a group of friends or a private event.
Favorite west 6th street spot
Walk, scooter, or Uber to the other side of 6th street for a fun immersive food and drink experience.
This is THE spot for a bachelorette or girl gang hang. Grab a drink as you walk around snapping endless photos while you wait for your table. They do not take reservations and this place is very popular, so plan to arrive a little earlier than you want to eat. The drinks are strong and the food is great!
Our favorite Brunch spot
Brunch is a must on any bachelorette trip. Our favorite brunch spot is located in the Van Zandt Hotel on Rainy Street.
Offering a bat's-eye-view of Lady Bird Lake and the downtown skyline, Geraldine's is named after the famed guinea fowl that once roamed Rainey Street. Respect for Austin's history and culture seeps into every part of the restaurant, from the local ingredients featured in our Chef's contemporary menu to the nightly concert lineup—because there is no Austin without live music. Take shelter from the Texas sun at our adjacent rooftop lounge, complete with private cabanas and outdoor seating.
If you are more of a hotel person than a short-term rental, this hotel is the cutest and perfect for a bachelorette or birthday weekend. It’s Insta-worthy and the staff is super helpful and friendly.
At the crossroads where Town Lake meets downtown, the LINE Austin draws influence from both the surrounding natural beauty and the creative energy that fuels the city. Once home to a jazz club that broadcast live on local radio in the late 1960s, the hotel is part of downtown Austin history and holds a cultural legacy within its walls as unique as the city itself
